8 days Uganda primates safari: This primates safari will take you through different Safari tour activities such as chimpanzee tracking, gorilla trekking, boat cruise, game viewing, nature walks, visiting the equator and cultural encounters.
With this Uganda Safari you will be able to visit different Uganda national parks such as Kibale national park, Queen Elizabeth national park, Bwindi national park and Lake Mburo national park.

Day 1; Pick up and transfer to kibale national park
On the 1st day of your 8 days Uganda primates safari, you will be met by your guide who will welcome you and brief you about the details of your 8 days’ trip. After briefing, you will be driven out of the city to kibale national park with a stopover in Fort portal town for visiting the crater lakes. After the crater lake experience, you will proceed to your lodge.
Day 2; Chimpanzee tracking
On the 2nd day of your 8 days Uganda primates safari, you will have an early morning breakfast ahead of your chimpanzee tracking activity. After breakfast, you will proceed to the park headquarters for briefing about chimpanzee tracking. After briefing you will be guided into the forest as you search for the chimpanzees in their natural habitat. You will see a variety of birds, butterflies as well as other primate and tree species within the forest. After chimpanzee tracking, you will return to your lodge for dinner and overnight

Day 3; Transfer to Queen Elizabeth national park and evening boat cruise
On the 3rd day of your 8 days Uganda primates safari, you will have an early morning breakfast at you lodge and then check out as you transfer to Queen Elizabeth national park. on arrival in queen Elizabeth national park, you will check in at your lodge and relax as you prepare for the evening boat cruise. Your guide will pick you up from your lodge and take you to the location for the boat cruise on kazinga channel. During the boat cruise, you will see a variety of bird species such as cormorants as well as many hippos and buffalos as you enjoy the beautiful scenery around the national park and watch the sunset.
Day 4; Morning game drive and transfer to Bwindi national park
On the 4th day of your 8 days Uganda primates safari, you will have early breakfast at your lodge and check out as you proceed for your morning game drive. You will see a variety of wildlife species such as the rare tree climbing lions in the Ishasha sector during your game drive. After the game drive, you will proceed to Bwindi national park for dinner and overnight

Day 5; Gorilla trekking
On the 5th day of your 8 days Uganda primates safari, you will have an early morning breakfast at your lodge as you prepare for gorilla trekking. Your guide will drive you to the park headquarters where you will be briefed about gorilla trekking. You will be divided into groups as you head out in search for the gorillas in their natural habitat. During gorilla trekking, you will see a variety of bird species as well as other primate species in the forest. After gorilla trekking, you will return to the briefing point where you will meet your guide who will drive you back to your lodge for dinner and overnight
Day 6; Community walks and transfer to lake Mburo national park
On the 6th day of your 8 days Uganda primates safari, you will have an early breakfast at your lodge and then check out of the lodge. After checking out, you will proceed for a community walk where you will interact with the Batwa people. You will learn more about their culture, watch traditional dance performances, see local arts and crafts and listen to folk stories. After the Batwa experience, you will proceed to lake Mburo national park where you will check in at your lodge for dinner and overnight

Day 7; Nature walk and evening boat cruise
On the 7th day of your 8 days Uganda primates safari, you will have an early breakfast at your lodge as you prepare for a unique experience of game viewing on foot. During the nature walk, you will see a variety of wildlife species such as elands, buffaloes, zebras, antelopes, topis and many others since they are more active during this time of day. After the nature walk, you will return to your lodge where you will have lunch and relax as you wait for the next activity of the day which is the evening boat cruise. Your guide will pick you up from the lodge and take you to the location for the evening boat cruise on Lake Mburo. During the boat cruise, you will see a variety of bird species as well as wildlife grazing near the water shores as you watch the beautiful sunset. After the boat cruise, you will return to your lodge for dinner and
Day 8; Departure
You will have an early morning breakfast at your lodge and then check out of the lodge. After checking out, you will be driven to the equator for photographic moments, visiting craft stalls and souvenir shops, interacting with the local community. You will also have lunch at the equator and then proceed to Kampala where your guide will drop you off at your preferred location which will mark the end of 5 days Kidepo Valley National Park Safari.
