The safari will take you to Queen Elizabeth national park which is the second largest and most visited national park in western Uganda famously known for harboring the tree climbing lions which will be viewed lying up in fig, acacia tree branches. During the safari in Queen Elizabeth national park you will engage in amazing activities like game drive and boat cruise where you will have great views of abundant wildlife species like elephants, buffaloes, warthogs, giant forest hogs, Uganda kobs, hippos, crocodiles, lions, leopards and different bird species.

Detailed itinerary
Day 1 of the 3 days Queen Elizabeth safari
Arrival and transfer to Queen Elizabeth national park, depending on the time of arrival at Entebbe international airport on the first day of the 3 days Queen Elizabeth safari, you will be welcomed by our driver guide who will brief you about the safari and then start the journey to Queen Elizabeth national park. The national park is located in western Uganda and on the way you will have a stopover at the equator where you will take great photos, buy craft souvenirs and then continue the journey with another stopover at Igongo cultural centre for en-route lunch. After lunch you will proceed to the park with great views of beautiful landscape, local people, traditional homesteads, Rwenzori Mountains among others. Upon arrival you will go for a short evening game drive where you will see animals like buffaloes, elephants, Uganda kobs, waterbucks, warthogs, view the sundowner among others. After the evening game drive you will drive to check into the lodge, have dinner and overnight.
Day 2: Morning game drive/ lion tracking and afternoon boat cruise
Morning game drive/lion tracking experience, after breakfast on the second day of the 3 days Queen Elizabeth safari you will meet up with your driver guide to go for a morning game drive in Kasenyi plains which starts at around 6:00am. During the game drive you will be able to view animals like buffaloes, Uganda kobs, elephants, warthogs, waterbucks, bushbucks among other grazing in the open savannah plains, view predators like lions and leopards before they head back to their hiding area, view different bird species like martial eagle, crowned plover, white tailed lark, black bellied bustard, black crowned tchagara, black headed gonolek, long created eagle, bateleur, African crake, palm-nut vulture among others. After the morning game drive you will drive back to the lodge for lunch and refreshment.
Boat cruise, after lunch your driver guide will pick you up to drive to the landing site near Mweya luxury lodge for a boat cruise on Kazinga channel. During the boat ride which takes about 2 hours you will have spectacular views of animals like elephants, warthogs, buffaloes, waterbucks among others drinking water on the banks, view large concentrations of hippos in water, Nile crocodiles basking on the water shores, view water birds like papyrus gonolek, malachite and pied kingfisher, pink backed pelican, African shoebill, long tailed cormorant, open billed stork, yellow billed stork, black crake among others. After the boat cruise you will drive back to the lodge for an evening relaxation, dinner and overnight.
Day 3: Morning game drive and departure to Kampala
Morning game drive, on the last day of the 3 days Queen Elizabeth safari you will have a relaxed breakfast, check out of the lodge and meet up with your driver guide to go for another morning game drive in the park where you will have an opportunity to view some of the animals that you might have missed the previous day. After the game drive you will drive out of the park and start the journey back to Kampala with en-route lunch and great views of stunning scenery, roadside markets, tea plantations among others, you will reach Kampala early evening and upon arrival your driver guide will drop you off at Entebbe airport for your departure flight or drop off at any nearest hotel depending on your schedule.
