This 12 days Best of Uganda Safari is a Uganda wildlife safari that takes you to different parts of Uganda with different thrilling experiences where you will see a variety of attractions and to engage in a number of activities as seen in the itinerary below;

Day 1: Murchison falls national park via zziwa
On the 1st day of your 12 days best of Uganda safari, you will be welcomed by your guide at the airport or at any location around Kampala and who will brief about the Uganda safari safari.
Later you will continue to your journey to Murchison falls national park with a stopover at Zziwa rhino sanctuary and having lunch in Masindi Town.
While at Ziwa , you will be briefed about the rules and regulations of spending time with the rhinos and then you will be guided to where the rhinos stay. After the Rhino Tracking Experience, you will continue to Murchison falls national park where you will check in and have dinner and spend over night.
Accommodation: Paraa safari lodge.
Day 2: Morning and evening game drives
Wake up early in the morning, you will be served with breakfast served at the lodge and then after you will continue for your morning game drive.
During your morning game drive, you will see a variety of wildlife species as they trot around the national park, hunt and graze since they are very active in the morning. After this morning game drive, you will return to your lodge for lunch and to relax.
Later in the evening, you will head out for a game viewing experience, where you will spot some of the big five in the park such as lions, leopards, elephants, buffalos as well as other wildlife species that include giraffes, elands, waterbucks, antelopes, warthogs and different bird species. After return to your lodge for your dinner and overnight as above.
Day 3: Hike Top of the falls and evening boat cruise
On the 3rd day of your Safari, an adventure of hiking to the top of the falls awaits after being with breakfast at the lodge. While hiking to the top of the falls hike, you will enjoy beautiful views of the surroundings and the rest of the national park as well as different attractions such as the Murchison falls, the Victoria Nile among others.
Later return to your lodge where lunch will be served and you will also relax in the comfort of your lodge. You will also engage in an evening boat cruise to spend the evening relaxing on the waters of the Victoria Nile.
During your evening boat cruise, you will see different bird species as well as wildlife species in the water such as hippos and Nile crocodiles as well as grazing in the distant savannah plains near the water shores.
After you will be driven back to your lodge and you will have your dinner and spend the night at Paraa safari lodge.
Day 4: Move to kibale national park
Wake up early in the morning, have breakfast at your lodge in Murchison falls national park and then you will check out of the lodge as you prepare for your journey to Kibale national park.
Meet your guide and embark on your journey to Kibale via Hoima town where you will have lunch before continuing your journey.
After having your lunch, you will proceed to Kibale national park where you will check in your lodge as you also prepare for your dinner and spend the night.
Accommodation: Chimpanzee guesthouse.
Day 5: Chimpanzee trekking and visit to crater lakes
On the 5th day of your 12 days best of Uganda safari, wake up and be served with breakfast at your lodge as you prepare for your chimpanzee trekking activity. This activity starts with briefing at the national park headquarters as you get to know the rules and regulations as well as other guidelines of the chimpanzee trekking activity.
You will head in to Kibale forest as you search for the chimpanzees which can be seen in the forest. During Chimpanzee trekking, you can spot a variety of primate species such as black and white colobus monkeys, vervet monkeys, grey cheeked monkeys among others.
After you will return to your lodge and have your lunch after your chimpanzee trekking. Later on after lunch you will visit to the crater lakes where you will enjoy the scenic views around and after this experience; you will be driven back to your lodge for your dinner and to spend the night at as above
Day 6: Transfer to Queen Elizabeth national park
Wake up early morning, have breakfast before checking out of your lodge. Meet your guide and continue to your journey to Queen Elizabeth N.P where you will have an enroute game drive in the national park as you continue to your lodge where you will check in at your lodge and also enjoy your lunch.
Later in the evening, you do an evening game drive in the park where you will spot different wildlife such as the tree climbing lions. You will also see different wildlife species such as antelopes, buffalos, waterbucks and many others as you return to your lodge for dinner and overnight.
Accommodation: Pumba cottages.
Day 7: Boat Ride on kazinga channel and kalinzu forest
On this day, wake up in the morning and have you breakfast at your lodge before you start your adventure of exploring kazinga channel which is formed where Lake George and Lake Albert meet.
You will take on a boat ride along the kazinga channel during which you will see a variety of bird species along the water shores such as hammerkops, kingfishers, cormorants, fish eagles as well as different wildlife species which can be seen in the distant plains near the kazinga channel as well as in the channel itself.
After the Kazinga Channel experience, will return to your lodge and you will have your lunch and also relax. Later in the evening after lunch you will visit Kalinzu forest in Queen Elizabeth national park where you will engage in a nature walk as you enjoy the beauty of nature in the forest.
Dinner will be served at your lodge and you will also spend the night as the day before as above.
Day 8: Game drive and transfer to Bwindi national park
After having breakfast at the lodge, you will check out of the lodge and proceed for a morning game drive in Queen Elizabeth national park where you will see a variety of wildlife species.
After the game drive, you will continue and drive to Bwindi impenetrable forest national park where you will check in at your lodge and have your lunch and also relax at the lodge as you wait to enjoy your dinner and spend the night.
Accommodation: Buhoma haven lodge.
Day 9: Gorilla trekking in Bwindi impenetrable forest national park
On the 9th day of your 12 days best of Uganda safari, you will be served with breakfast at your lodge in Bwindi impenetrable forest national park as you prepare for your gorilla trekking activity.
Meet your guide who will drive you to the park headquarters where you will be briefed about gorilla trekking. After your briefing, you will be divided into groups then you will proceed to adventure into Bwindi Forest in search for the endangered gorillas. While tracking these gentle giants, you will spot different primate species in the forest as well as a variety of bird and butterfly species.
You will spend an 1 hour with the gorillas and after this gorilla trekking experience, you will return to your lodge where you will have lunch and Relax.
Day 10: Batwa Cultural Visit
On the 10th day of your 12 days best of Uganda safari, wake up in the morning, have breakfast and proceed to a community visit to the batwa community who have a unique and diverse culture.
On your visit to the Batwa people, you will engage in a variety of activities during your cultural interaction with the batwa such as fruit gathering, watching traditional dance performances, seeing local arts and crafts among others and later you will return to your lodge, have lunch and relax a bit.
Later, you will check out the lodge and embark on your journey to Lake Bunyonyi for another Adventurous experience. On reaching Lake Bunyonyi, check in your lodge. Relax the lodge while enjoying beautiful scenic views as your preparing for Dinner and Stay over night

Day 11; Boat cruise on Lake Bunyonyi
You will have breakfast at your lodge after, you will also engage in a boat ride on Lake Bunyonyi which has blue water as well as a number of islands plus beautiful views of the terraced hills and later. After your boat ride return to the lodge for lunch and relax abit as your preparing for you journey to lake Mburo.
Later you guide will drive you to Lake Mburo National Park where you will have dinner and stay overnight.
Day 12; Game drive in Lake Mburo national park and Departure
Have breakfast at your lodge as you prepare for your game drive in Lake Mburo national park. During your game drive to explore the savannah of the national park as view different wildlife species which reside in the national park such as zebras, buffalos, antelopes, warthogs as well as a variety of bird species. Return to your lodge for lunch and relax at the lodge.
In the evening, you will depart Lake Mburo national park for Entebbe with stop overs at the Equator. Which will mark the End of your Safari.
