3 Days Serengeti Wildlife safari covers one of the popular wildlife viewing destinations in the northern part of Tanzania which is also the oldest national park in Tanzania and is called Serengeti national park.

Serengeti national park is known for the great wildebeest migration which is the movement of over 2 million wildebeests across the Serengeti-Mara eco system which takes place annually between this national park and Masai Mara national reserve.

You will also engage in morning and afternoon game drives in Serengeti national park during your 3 days Serengeti safari and you will also enjoy searching for wildlife species like the big 5 which includes elephants, lions, leopards, rhinos and buffalos.

Detailed itinerary

Day 1; pick up and drive to Serengeti national park

Your guide will meet you at the airport or at your hotel in Arusha and welcome you for your 3 days Serengeti safari. You will also have a short briefing for your safari before starting your drive to the national park. Serengeti national park is the oldest national park in Tanzania and is famous for the great wildebeest migration.

You will enjoy driving around the endless savannah plains and dotted scenery of Serengeti national park during your 3 days Serengeti safari and also see wildlife species of a variety while on your evening game drive. Your guide will drive you back to your lodge after the evening game drive for dinner and overnight at Osinon camps and lodges. 

Day 2; full day in Serengeti national park

You will have a full day to explore the wilderness of Serengeti national park after having your breakfast at the lodge. You will be driven around the central part of Serengeti national park which is also known as the Seronera area during your 3 days Serengeti safari. You will engage in both morning and afternoon game drives in the national park and also have a lunch break between the game viewing experiences.

During your game drives in Serengeti national park, you will also see a variety of wildlife species as they graze and hunt around the savannah plains such as big cats like lions, leopards and cheetahs as well as other wildlife species like buffalos, elephants, giraffes, zebras, wildebeests,  topi, impalas, elands, dik dik, waterbucks, hyenas, antelopes, kudu and many others. You will be driven back to your lodge after the game drive for dinner and to spend the night as the day before at Osinon camps and lodges.  

Day 3; drive to Arusha 

On the last day of your 3 days Serengeti safari after having breakfast at your lodge, you will check out of the lodge as you prepare for your transfer back to Arusha. You will have an en route game drive in Serengeti national park and enjoy seeing wildlife species which are can easily be spotted in the morning around the grass plains of the national park. You will proceed to Arusha where your guide will drop you off at Kilimanjaro international airport or at your hotel in Arusha and this will bring your 3 days Serengeti safari to an end.
