4 Days Nyungwe National Park

4 Days Nyungwe National Park : This 4 Days Nyungwe National Park is a safari which will take through the park while taking adventure. you will get to trek Chimpanzees , hike the Isumo Water fall , go for a Canopy walk in the park which will mark the end  of the 4 Days Nyungwe National Park safari

Day 1: Transfer to Nyungwe Forest National Park

You will be met by your driver guide at your agreed pick up time and location, you will embark on your journey to Nyungwe national park. This is a 5-6 hours drive to Nyungwe national park with lunch en route. Nyungwe forest is the oldest and largest rain forest in East Africa. Arrive in the park and connect to your lodge for relaxation, dinner and overnight stay at Nyungwe Visitor Centre.

Day 2: Chimpanzee trekking in Nyungwe

Wake up as early as 5:30am and set off for your chimpanzee trek. Before entering the forest in search of the active and playful fellows in Nyungwe forest. The Chimpanzees are much easier to spot as they jump from one tree to another, chattering and laughing. Chimpanzee tracking usually takes about 3 hours. On finding them, spend an hour while taking pictures and videos.  You will then return to your accommodation for lunch. You will spend the evening at leisure enjoying the cool breeze of the forest at your hotel. Dinner and overnight at Gisakura Visitor Centre

Day 3: Isumo Water fall hike

Wake up to an early morning breakfast then meet with your driver guide to connect for your Isumo waterfall hike at 9am. This trails takes approximately 4 hours to and from and it crosses the large tea plantation of Nyungwe Forest and is a bit difficult but worth it. You will meet many monkey species and most times, guests get to see the Ruwenzori Turaco Bird.

After the hike, you will connect to your lodge for lunch then spend the evening at leisure.

Day 4: Canopy and transfer back to Kigali

After breakfast at your accommodation, you will go on a walking trail that will take you to the Canopy Walk-a swing bridge 50 meters in length that is suspended from large trees. You will be able to see the amazing rainforest with a bird’s eye view, spotting wildlife moving about below you. After connect with your driver guide to embark on a 5 hour’s drive back to Kigali city with en route visit to Nyanza king’s palace and Rwanda national museum in Huye and Murambi genocide museum and lunch. Arrive in Kigali and connect to the airport for your return flight to your next destination.
