DAY 1: PICKUP FROM KIGALI AND TRANSFER TO VOLCANOES NATIONAL PARK
On day one of your 2 days gorilla trekking safari in Rwanda at a location of your choice in the country or from Kigali international Airport, your guide for your safari will welcome you to Rwanda and take you through the briefing session of your 2 days gorilla trekking safari in Rwanda. After the briefing session, you will participate in a Kigali city tour where you will visit Kigali Genocide Memorial Museum where you will get to know more about the dark period Rwandans went through during the massacre of the Tutsis by the Hutu, Kimironko market the largest market in Rwanda where you will get to buy a number of items, a number of African fabrics as you get to interact with the different with the locals for amazing experiences after the tour you will have lunch and make your way to volcanoes national park, during your way you will get to know the land of 1000 hills that will be seen on your way to Volcanoes National Park, you will also get to see a number of tea plantations and coffee Plantations among other rewarding views as you get to the home to the endangered mountain gorillas and endangered golden monkeys in Rwanda. On reaching the park you will transfer to your hotel for refreshments, dinner and overnight stay.
DAY 2: GORILLA TREKKING AND DEPARTURE
On day two of your 2 days gorilla trekking safari in Rwanda, after an early morning breakfast at your hotel your guide will pick you from your hotel and transfer you to volcanoes national park where you can carry out gorilla trekking in Rwanda. When you get to the park headquarters, you will participate in a briefing session where you will get to know the rules and regulations to follow during gorilla trekking in Rwanda, the precautions to take for memorable safaris in the park. After the briefing session, you will be accompanied by an armed ranger who will protect you from any animal attacks, you will also be accompanied a guide who will lead you through the different hiking trails on the different Virunga mountains to access the habituated Rwanda gorilla families.
When you get to the families, you will get to observe their feeding patterns how they co-exist with one another among other interesting features of the primates, you will then take pictures and the end of your 2 days gorilla trekking safari in Rwanda. After you gorilla trekking experience, you will transfer to Kigali city for your late lunch and later on be dropped at a location of your choice in Kigali city or Kigali international airport.
