3 Days Kibale Chimpanzee Trekking Safari Tour: This is a Chimpazee tracking Safari that lets you track Chimpanzees in the thick forest of Kibale National Park which is the Capital of Primates which is located in western Uganda in Kabarole District. While Tracking Chimpanzees, Other Uganda wildlife to sight in Kibale forest National Park include the following; red and blue duikers, bushbucks, sitatungas, bushpigs, giant forest hogs, common warthogs, and African buffalo and among others.

Day 1: Pick up and Transfer to Kibale forest
On 1st day of your 3 Days Kibale Chimpanzee Trekking Safari Tour, depending on your location in Kampala, you will meet your guide/driver for a transfer to Kibale forest. This is a 5 hours’ drive with en route lunch. Arrive in Fort portal early afternoon and proceed to your lodge for relaxation.

Day 2: Chimpanzee tracking and afternoon nature walk
On the 2nd day of your 3 Days Kibale Chimpanzee Trekking Safari Tour, have breakfast very early and later transfer to the park head office for a briefing about the endangered chimpanzees and later enter the forest with the guidance of a park ranger along with your tracking gears, packed water and snacks.
Chimpanzee tracking takes about 2-5 hours in search of the chimpanzees. On finding the primates, you will spend 1 hour viewing them while studying their behavior and taking pictures. After tracking, return to the lodge for lunch and refresh.
In the afternoon after lunch, connect for a nature walk in Bigodi wetland, where you will get to enjoy walking through a wetland with a variety of bird species .Among the species seen within this swamp are: the Black-crowned Waxbill, White-spotted Flufftail, White-breasted Negrofinch, Yellow-spotted Barbet, Black Bishop, Hairy-breasted Barbet, Bocage’s Bush-shrike, Yellow-billed Barbet, Brown-crowned Tchagra, Black & white Shrike-flycatcher, Western Nicator, Superb Sunbird, Grey-winged Robin-chat, Brown-throated Wattle-eye, White-tailed Ant-thrush plus the Brown-backed Scrub-robin, in addition to many other species.. Later in the evening return to the lodge for relaxation, dinner and overnight at as above
Day 3: Transfer to Entebbe and departure
On the last day of your 3 Days Kibale Chimpanzee Trekking Safari Tour, Have breakfast at leisure and later drive to connect on a 5 hours’ drive back to Kampala and connect to Entebbe international airport to find your evening flight back home.
