Day 1: Pick Up and Transfer To Murchison Falls National Park
On the 1st day of your 5days Murchison falls and chimpanzee trekking tour , Depending on your location in Kampala, our driver will pick you up from your lodge at exactly 7am and a short briefing about your 5days Murchison falls and chimpanzee trekking tour. After the brief, you will embark on your tour to Murchison falls national park which takes about 5 -6 hours. You will pass through luwero district to taste on the organic fruits like pine apples, oranges, watermelons and so on. After the beautiful experience and encounter with the local people, you will proceed to Ziwa rhino sanctuary where you will be able to track the endangered white rhino species. After your rhino tracking experience in the sanctuary, you will proceed to Masindi town for lunch and after, you will continue on your journey to the beautiful Murchison falls national park where another world of beauty is discovered.
Day2: Game Drive and Boat Cruise
On the 2nd day of your 5days Murchison falls and chimpanzee trekking tour , you will have an early morning breakfast you will be picked from your lodge to participate in an an early morning game drive. The game drive will offer you the most amazing experience where you will see early risers like the elephants, buffaloes, lions, leopards, giraffes, waterbucks, bushbucks, Oribi antelopes, Jackson’s hartebeest as they make their way to the plains to graze. After the game drive you will proceed to your lodge in order to relax, have lunch and get ready for the evening boat cruise.
After lunch, our guide will pick you up from your hotel so as to participate in the boat cruise, the boat cruise will take you to the bottom of the falls where you will see a number of animal species like the crocodiles, elephants, Buffaloes, Hippos, Nile crocodile, Antelopes among others and water birds like kingfishers, herons, bee-eaters, cormorants. The exciting adventure will come to an end where you will transfer to your hotel in order to relax as you wait for dinner and get ready for tomorrow’s adventure.
Day3: Chimpanzee Trekking in Budongo Forest
On the 3rd day of your 5days Murchison falls and chimpanzee trekking tour , an early morning breakfast will be served and with your packed lunch, our guide will pick you from your hotel and transfer you to Budongo forest the home of primates. On reaching the forest you will be welcomed by the hoots from the trees of the primates and you will come across the baboons and the different monkey species like the black and white colobus monkeys.
At the forest, the guide/ ranger will brief you on the activity of chimpanzee trekking and after the brief get ready to be mesmerised by the beauty of the forest different primate species will be seen but as you proceed to the primates where you will spend time with them taking pictures, watching how they act while in the wild, their eating patterns and so on. With the end of the adventure in Budongo forest, you will be transferred back to your hotel where you will relax, have dinner and have an overnight stay.
Day 4: Delta Cruise Experience
On the 4th day of your 5days Murchison falls and chimpanzee trekking tour , after an early morning breakfast at your hotel, you will be transferred by a boat to the delta area where you will have the most exhilarating experience. The delta cruise will give you the opportunity to see a number of animal species like the elephants, hippos, zebras and some of the threatened bird species the most sought after bird species that visit Murchison falls national park the shoe bill stork.
